A couple of months ago I wrote a journal and asked people to draw/paint/write/photograph/create the best they can and then submittheir art on december 1st.

Due to me being rather occupied and not being able to support that enough, not many made it on that date - sorry guys :(

Buuut! This will be an ongoing event from now on, so next date is january the first!

// pencils, Faber Castell markers
// Textures from CGtextures

Will write some more in my journal later, now I have to work.

Great shading...
love the shadow of the branches on the tree trunk..
And the fish more like snakes breaking through the ground uprooting the trees.. shows in a way hunger and and drought.
The fish are almost stone like giving a sort of mystic feeling.
And what i love and is funny is, it looks like the tree behind 'that watched the tree in front be uprooted so brutally by this fishy monsters,' uprooted itself and is moving away quickly before they get to it..:D..

What i like about this drawing is that there are so many ways to interpret it, and make stories.
And one suggestion : a little flat color somewhere may make it more playful , or say show a little contrast.

okay, yap yap yap..
:P
i hope this helps.
